Those don’t really speak to me like they do for you. Which is what makes them so important.

Probably my favorite scene from this film and likely any film I’ve ever viewed. Deniros “penance and awakening “. Lovely. Powerful.
I think the Moricone pieces could reflect and represent that deep exploration that Lies in the Port. This port or the ports ahead.
Will research now.

Re the scene, Yes, Mendoza’s penance. Drives me to tears every time I see it. The forgiveness and acceptance by the Guarani…….
Perhaps consider U2, “I Still Haven’t Found What Im Looking For”. Which, despite pop culture assumptions, is about Bono’s search for spiritual enlightenment in Christianity. Applying that theme of exploration to the Utila experience, or maybe I am selfishly inserting myself into this.
Maybe El Jag is onto something re a playlist. Individual songs applying on a given day, moment or set of emotions.
Hmmmm? Starting to feel a bit Jack Handy like.
Octopus’s Garden
I will need to check out that song.
I do remember that track! Not bad. Too flippant in a way though.
